Happy Fall Ya'll

Hey there friends!  Hope this post finds you all well. Today I am bringing you a challenge for my Guest Design spot on Craft Hoarders Anonymous.  This is Challenge # 17 and there is an awesome prize up for grabs donated by dt member Ginny Nemchak who owns Polly's Paper Studio.  Here's a pic -

I'm a fall baby and I adore everything about the season.  Not too cold, the colors, the decor, it makes my heart sing :)  I did a layout of my son Santino and granddaughter Gianna when they were wee tots. They were on the side of the house with fake pumpkins and his wagon and it just said fall to me. Once again every piece of this creation came from my stash.  Not a single thing bought special, though some items are newer than others.  I will say this, that gorgeous giant flower has been in the goodie pile for about 5 years!  It never ceases to amaze me how long I hold onto some things :)

I used Bo Bunny's beautiful fall line from last year, Autumn Song, and I'm first getting it scrapped now. Wow, I really have got to be a bit more diligent with my papers and get busy using them! The vines in the top right corner I cut with my cricut, and the pretty vine frame and leaves are from Creative Embellishments.  The center of the flower was a clock face I cut out and glossy accented :)

This was such a fun layout to do. Between the pic and all the embellies and texture paste, just fantastic.I love how the path came, it just extends from the pic itself. I journaled on the back of the note card tucked in behind the photo.  It says - There was a time when these two didn't get along.  Santino didn't like sharing his mama.  Now, the two are best buds.  Uncle and niece playing together.  Time has flown and they are so big now.  I do miss those days while enjoying them as they grow.

It all works so perfectly to encircle that adorable picture of your son and granddaughter when they were little children. Fall is my favorite time of the year as well and you have really captured the essence of fall in your layout. <3 Candy
